About Dial a Community Bus

Buchan Dial-a-Community Bus is an award winning transport charity based in Maud and is focussed on the reduction of isolation in Aberdeenshire through the provision of high quality transport and supported services. The Charity was founded in 2000 with only one service and one bus, we now have a fleet of ten buses and numerous services that are highlighted throughout. We provide affordable, accessible transport throughout the Buchan area for some of our society’s most vulnerable individuals.

To provide community transport for vulnerable adults and children and our aims are to reduce social exclusion, to lessen isolation in rural communities and to make service users more independent.
