From February 3rd 2020, our new community transport service will be operating throughout Buchan.

Whether it be shopping for basic foodstuff, accessing training and employment, attending health appointments or for socialising, if a lack of access to public transport or car is an issue, contact Be-link’D to find out about our routes and timetables or to book your first journey.



who can use the bus?

Anyone who cannot access suitable transport because of the times of the buses, the accessibility or the cost.

How much will it cost?

The bus will be free

Where will it go?

The bus will pick up from New Deer, Maud, Stuartfield, New Pitsligo, Strichen, Fetterangus and go to either Fraserburgh or Peterhead - see timetables for scheduled days/times.

What are the times it will be available?

Between the hours of 09:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday

How do I book the bus?

Call 01771 619191 between the hours 8.30am and 4.00pm asking to book the Be-link’D service or email

The minimum notice for booking is 24 hours prior to travelling.

Pre-booking is essential, passengers will not be permitted to travel without booking.

All bookings are subject to availability.

What if I need a wheelchair to get around?

The bus will be able to accommodate a wheelchair; however, you must advise this at the time of booking, you will also need to advise if you need any assistance.

I need somebody to accompany me, can they come on the bus too?

If you need any support or assistance you can take another person with you as long as you book them a seat on the bus also at the time of your booking.

Can children go on the bus?

Children under 5 years old cannot travel due to Health and Safety restrictions. Children age 5-16 may travel if they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Children over the age of 16 may travel independently.

What can I use the bus for?

Attending DWP, health appointments, going shopping, attending training, group or club activities, library services and social purposes.


There will be set pick up points in each specified village (see timetables for detailed information), however if you are unable to get to these public points, please advise at the time of booking of your individual needs such as wheelchair user etc. and we will arrange a suitable pick up point.
