Annually we hold a Christmas Party as a thank you to our Patrons, for the continued use and support of Buchan Dial-a-Community Bus. On Saturday, 14th December we had our party in the Maud Village Social Club, in which they provided the tea, coffee, sandwiches, sausage rolls and mince pies. We had crackers and plenty of sweets, with Christmas music playing in the background, there was a great buzz and a real festive spirit with the staff and directors dressed in their best (and worst) Christmas Jumpers! As always, the raffle was highly anticipated and there were so many donations, that the drawing of the tickets took longer than the consumption of the festive goodies, enough prizes that most of the patrons went home with at least ONE prize! As the party drew to a close, the Chairman of Buchan Dial-a-Community Bus wished everyone a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year and carriages (our own fleet, driven by our own staff) took all of the patron’s home safely.
Another successful event, following another successful year, here’s to the new year and the new decade, bring on 2020!
